Denver is the capital and the most populous city of Colorado. The United States Census Bureau estimates that, in 2006, the population of the City and County of Denver was 566,974, making it the 27th most populous U.S. city. The city claims to have the 10th largest central business district in the United States.
When I graduated from the University of Illinois back in 1976, I moved out to Denver Colorado to find my riches. Actually, I was hoping to land an advertising agency job in Denver, but fell flat on my face - as nobody was hiring a young kid out of college. So, I ended up working for a Baldwin piano store, as well as sold radio time for an all Spanish radio station.
